Prezi ~ Putting Visual Movement in Your Classroom

April 3, 2012

Prezi is an excellent software similar to Power Point with the added feature of non-linear movement and the ability to pan and zoom. In addition,  many other teaching modalities can be incorporated  into a Prezi, such as YouTube, Pixton, Jing, Screencast, and Moviemaker–allowing a very tangible, interactive, and visual lesson full of movement. Below is an example of how a used Prezi to tell a digital story for a human services class on the deinstitutionalization movement in the 1970s. Enjoy!
